We would like to start the debating tournament as early as possible in the new school year; therefore, registration should take place without any delay, before or as soon as the schools open in January 2020.
Please take note of the following:
- Registration fee will be R300 per team for 2020
- If you have more than 20 learners interested in taking part, consider to register two teams: an experienced and inexperienced team for newcomers to become familiar with rules and research. New teams will compete against each other.
- You can start registering immediately until 07 February 2020 after which the schedule will be fixed and no late registration will be accommodated.
Please come with suggestions for debating topics – we want all to be involved in determining suitable and challenging topics. The registration form for 2020 goes with this letter. Please contact us if you need any more information.
Please make the debate part of your year plan and budget for 2020.
